Mike Soto started working in the commercial construction industry as a painter in 1975. After a decade working throughout California painting prominent hotels, service stations, and bridges, Mike and his family moved to Oregon where he changed his focus from painting to drywall finishing. He worked on many high-profile projects including the Nike headquarters, Chinook Winds Casino, Fox Tower, 1000 Broadway Building, Moda Center, Oregon Ducks Stadium and many others.

Mike and his wife moved to Bend in 2008 to be closer to their two daughters and Mike began work at Mt. Bachelor Village Resort as the Maintenance Manager, a position he would continue until he started his own Drywall Repair business in Bend in 2019.
